It's not every day that I am given the privelidge and honor of photographing a brain surgery. But there was no way that I could pass up the opprotunity to tell the story of the amazing 1-year old Ben and his family. It's a long post, but well worth the read. Adam Mathias Korst is an Oregon based commercial photographer specializing in wedding photography, photojournalism, editorial portraiture, travel photography and fine art photography. Adam recieved a traditional training in commercial photography, and is a graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle. His work has been used by such companies as Adobe, T-Mobile, Maquette Magazine, the Tacoma News Tribune, the Eatonville Dispatch, the Polk County Itemizer-Observer and more, with clients from Seattle to Sweden.
Adam currently serves as the photo editor for the Polk County Itemizer-Observer newspaper in Dallas, Oregon. His work earned him the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association's "First Place Best Features Photo," "First Place Best Lifestyles Coverage," and several other awards.
The work you see on this site is mostly digital photography, but does include other photographic mediums, such as 35mm and 4x5 films as well.
